Businesses that wish to donate can call 229-293-0444 for more information.
The purpose of the program is to “provide recognition and financial assistance to low-income, disadvantaged students residing in Lowndes County, who attend Lowndes or Valdosta High School and who wish to further their education by attending College/University in the United States and pursue a career as a Counselor working with substance abuse and/or domestic violence.”
Cash donations are being accepted at any Regions Bank. We are hoping our events raise enough to make the scholarship an annual fundraiser to give one scholarship yearly to a local high school student.
